Web 2.0 Social Media Guide

Monday, May 12th, 2008

A well designed web 2.0 social media is something that prevents users from spamming but allows navigability and usability features to be explored in a different way. One good example of the web 2.0 social media site is Squidoo, personally crafted by Seth Godin himself.

This might sound a little bit more of a review for the said amazing social media site but I would like to clarify a few things that are 100 % sure about what these web 2.0 sites do not allow. One of which is having multiple accounts upon thinking that this way, they (the social media users) can take advantage of its very helpful features of propelling sites and keyword targets to the top of the search results. This is strictly not allowed and tricks like these will get you booted out of the system if you do this. May this also serve as a tip and warning at the same time for those who think they can get away with this scheme. Don’t try it because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that you can use for as long as you want.

Another important dont’s on these web 2.0 social media sites is for you out there to not put in any type of copied content because if the administrators find out about your wrong doing, again, you will be stripped of your right to use the service and it could also get you banned for life. The guys who manage these social media sites talk to each other and so it is also possible that you can get banned with other sites their friends manage.
