Cooking Tomato and Pepper

Saturday, May 10th, 2008

Did you know that cooking can be a little tricky sometimes especially if we are to cook for health? Today, this special post that I have will try to discuss a short tip on cooking dishes with tomato and pepper. Although essentially, this should include other types of kitchen ingredients that has seeds in it. The reason for this is because I want you all to understand that in every seed that we include in our dish cooking, we also include something else that’s not supposed to be there in the food that we eat. What I am talking about is uric acid which can be found in all sorts of seed that can come from some of the popular ingredients that we use in cooking our daily dishes.

We all know how uric acid can give dramatic effects to our food intake especially if we are in our middle age. This can cause a severe pain in the joints which we call as arthritis (read more arthritis information here), the most common cause of disability in the United States. This is due to excessive intake of food rich in uric acid. This includes tomato and pepper which are both common for use as cooking ingredients. So this cooking tip will center on nothing but a tip to lower your cooking recipe with uric acid content.

This is all simple, if one of the biggest source of uric acid comes from seeds or any seed, then all you have to do to avoid amplifying the effects of arthritis is to lessen the seed or totally remove the seeds in all your cooking spree. If you do this, it will contribute to lessening the uric acid intake. What I am pointing at is since one of the most common ingredient we have in the kitchen would comprise of tomato and pepper, then I would like to tip you to remove first their seeds before you have them cooked. This will lessen the amount of uric acid and its intake and will lead to lower uric acid content in the body.
