Rebisco Philippines in the 80’s

Since my uncle and a cousin who used to work in the manufacturing plant of (Republic Biscuits Philippines)  Rebisco Philippines, the only supplier for Rebisco biscuits and one of the leading brands in the country they both knew that the work won’t really last. Today, it was high noon in the grocery and people I have observed while making their shopping, each of them, small kids and even adults don’t fail to seek for some of the most popular biscuits in the Philippines and I am amazed at how popular indeed is the old Rebisco biscuits to them until this day. Popular products would range from wafers, assorted biscuits, flavored crackers, plain crackers, cookie sandwitches, gums, gelatin sticks, cakes, breads, nuts and seeds, chips and curls and more. In the industry of supplies on such products, they lead the variety and they are also the oldest makers which also makes them a dynasty in this field.

Rebisco Biscuits Manufacturing Plant

I couldn’t remember really what year it was when my uncle used to work for the prestigious Rebisco Manufacturing plant it was only that when both of them, my uncle and my cousin, the oldest of the cousins used to bring home some biscuits which were sold to the employees at a much lower price compared to when the biscuits were delivered to the groceries of big stores back in the early 80’s. Rebisco biscuits really did made it big in the industry of biscuits to still be here and continuing to supply their product to big groceries and stores up to this day. My uncle already died this month of July 2008 and the Rebisco biscuits are still well alive and kicking things off with profits for the manufacturers of the said biscuits, Rebisco Philippines. The owner is a Chinese according to a grocery attendant and promo personnel.

New Product Release for Rebisco Philippines

Today, Rebisco Philippines still continue to develop more interesting and click products and one of the newest on their portfolio is the Choco Mucho. My niece and nephew really love this hot new product by Rebisco and the moment they saw it in the television commercial and the nest day upon trying the hot new product, they immediately like it. I’m pretty sure there will be more new great biscuits and products that people will see get released soon because the makers never seem to cease to develop new deli products for the world and for the Filipinos.
