Nursing jobs in Australia is one of the most in-demand work there is today for nurses. Since the news came out that Australia is taking on nursing jobs for other countries, Filipinos who work as nurses in Europe, particularly in U.K. have eyed to have a slot for them to be able to get work as a professional nurse in Australia.
A good example was last night’s news on ABS-CBN that nursing jobs in Australia is taking up on peek and the country is accepting OFWs or Filipinos to work there coming from neighboring countries like the U.K. The trend of jobs in Australia for nurses has triggered so much enthusiasm for Filipino nurses wanting to get nursing jobs that would pay more than what they spend as cost of living in the U.K.
According to the news, truth is that nursing jobs indeed are very much in-demand in Australia and although by simple computation, the payout isn’t much higher than in U.K. professional nurses have seen so much potential in working there because the cost of living in Australia is much lower compared to that in U.K. Even if they receive higher salaries as nurses in Europe,when the cost of living is very high, the nurses living with their family said that they’d rather prefer to live and work in a place where it is cheaper in costs but gives a standard salary.
This particular instance is what I believe will result to more overseas workers to move places, particularly Filipinos to Australia and find work there as a nurse or any other job they are qualified for including their family like a husband. Professional nurses, even they receive high salary while the cost of living is even sky high would more rely and be content with just the standard salary where the cost of living is more than half of what they can get while they work in U.K. Proof that indeed cost of living is very much a priority consideration when one is out for work outside of their own country.
So overall estimates would fall under a conclusion that overseas workers, even if they receive higher work compensation in the form of their salaries but is obliged to pay more with the cost of living would more prefer to have jobs like that of a nurse that pays lesser but would allow them on a leverage over lesser cost of living. It pays more to have a work that pays lesser but the cost of living is also lesser than to have a job that pays high with higher costs of living in return.
