Bazooka Banal Looses Over Hometown Crowd

Last night in the main fight Banal vs Conception was a truly big night for Filipino fighters in the ring as 4 fights were won by them while the undefeated and most promising AJ Bazooka Banal lost via knockout to El Torito Concepcion of Panama in the fight in Cebu. The fight is in the home town of one of the most promising fighter from the Philippines. Contrary to what most sports enthusiast in the Philippines estimated, Banal lost over a knockout against El Torito. I had the same estimate but far from what those estimates were, we all are wrong. Banal lost with a flurry of punches to the body.  What has gone wrong over the fight that caused AJ Bazooka Banal to loose the fight? Is it just the body punches or the lack of body training for Banal? Conception undergone a rigid weight loss after found to be overweight in the weigh-in the day before the fight so if the question lies in the strength of the pucnhes, I don’t believe that it is that much. Banal Just overlooked the way Conception would perform those body punches.

Strengthen the Stomach to Gain Lost Glory

One thing, like Manny Pacquiao, If I were to give my very own estimates, AJ Banal proved to be a fragile and very young fighter in the ring. Although he never lost since he started in the professional boxing arena, it is not said in the books that he cannot loose as well as what other greatest boxers are. I belve he should train next time just like Pacquiao whom I have seen almost all fights since the Blow-By Blow era of his youngsters fights. Just like the first defeat that Manny “the pacman” Pacquiao suffered, heavy punches to the body, I believe that AJ Bazooka Banal has to really undergo a rigid training to strengthen his stomach to increase his chances of getting back the lots glory in the fight against El Torito Conception.

Laban na Banal, Not Yet Time

It is not yet his time, indeed but I am sure that he can still make the comeback and he will beat the Panamanian when the time comes for them to meet again. He must not make the same mistake of allowing all his opponents punch him out in the body in the future. My suggestion is that he should train like Pacquiao and I mean train hard in his stomach to be able to gain back the lost glory over fighting the hard hitting El Torito Conception.
