Chocolate Hills is also listed now as the country’s 3rd National Geological Monument and in pending proposal for inclusion as one of the UNESCO World Heritage List. Today, Filipinos are trying to get the Chocolate Hills to become one of the new 7 wonders of the world by voting for it in the list. Votes are still coming over and it has already climbed its way back to the top of the list after having submerged into nowhere. To this day, May 2, 2008, Chocolate Hills is now on the top # 9 spot for the quest on becoming one of the new 7 wonders of the world while the Tubbataha Reef is in the top # 8 as it continues to climb and drop to the #7 spot.
